How to Use Crystals in Meditation

Crystals can deepen any meditation practice, from novice to veteran alike. Crystals offer healing properties and energies to support your intention while increasing focus and concentration. You can use any crystal for meditation; however, certain varieties such as clear quartz (known as “master stone”); amethyst; and celestine are especially popular options for use.

Meditation with crystals can be practiced anywhere – in your hand or placed upon one of your body’s energy centers known as chakras. To prepare for meditation, smudging with palo santo or sage is an excellent way to clear energy in your space and set an atmosphere conducive to reflection.

Once you are ready to begin your session, close your eyes and focus on your intention for it: healing, emotional balance, clarity or spiritual growth.
