Protective crystals provide protection from negative energies, encourage positive energy to flow freely, and empower the wearer. From being worn as jewelry or placed around living spaces, protective stones act as energetic bodyguards.
Black Tourmaline is one of the most powerful protective crystals, its dense black hue helping absorb negative energy and transform it into positive ones – leaving its wearer feeling more grounded and secure.
Obsidian
Obsidian is widely recognized as one of the premier protective crystals, dispelling negative energies and energy blocks from our surroundings while amplifying positive intentions and manifesting desires.
Obsidian, an igneous rock formed from rapidly cooling magma (liquid rock), may form either by an intrusive process within a volcano, or extrusion outwards as lava flows or volcanic domes. Obsidian can be dated using hydration analysis, allowing archeologists to trace its origins; each obsidian flow has a unique chemical signature making them easily distinguishable even after years of cultural use and rehydration, making obsidian ideal for archaeological applications.
Amethyst

Citrine
Citrine has long been prized as a stone that promotes both health and wealth. Commonly known as “merchant’s stone”, citrine can stimulate solar plexus chakra and is said to help manifest desires more quickly.
Citrine’s subtle hues pair beautifully with the earth tones found in fall and winter fashion. Additionally, citrine is known to help protect against stress, exhaustion and negative thoughts.
Crystals offer many beneficial properties and properties, which you can leverage by wearing or carrying protective crystals. Be sure to cleanse and recharge them regularly in order to get maximum use from them! Additionally, these tools can be combined with other manifestation practices and tools.
Hematite
Hematite is an excellent stone for grounding energy and creating a calm, balanced space. It can enhance natural leadership abilities as well as assist with stress, trauma and emotional challenges; increasing confidence and self-esteem while improving concentration on tasks and reaching goals.
Breaking unhealthy patterns and strengthening self-discipline are also hallmarks of success with meditation, as evidenced by its role as a key component in early cave painting as well as in modern ochre, sienna, and umber paints.
Hematite can sometimes be confused with magnetite; to differentiate the two stones, scratch a piece of pure hematite on a white ceramic plate and watch for any signs of red or red-brown spots, while magnetite will not.
Pyrite
Pyrite crystals are one of the most sought-after gems to include in any collection, as they play an indispensable role in modern chemical, pharmaceutical and armament industries. Pyrite serves as a primary source of sulfuric acid–the world’s most commonly produced industrial chemical product.
Pyritite is a protective stone, known for boosting confidence and inviting abundance into one’s life. Sometimes mistaken for gold due to its brassy to golden color, pyrite crystals have irregular flat faces that mimic that of its real-world counterparts, making pyrrite an affordable and convenient alternative.
Selenite is an energetically cleansing crystal with strong purifying powers, offering protection from negative energy and bad vibes. Place Selenite stones around your home or workplace to create an energetic grid of calmness and security.
Fluorite
Fluorite (also referred to as fluorspar) is the mineral form of calcium fluoride (CaF2). It occurs as crystals, typically cubic in shape but often more complex isometric forms; colorless forms may also exist or it could even feature multiple colors and bands.
Crystals may also form penetration twins, with two cubes interwoven (“fluorite twins”). Fluorite twins can often be found as either octahedrons or cubic forms; combinations such as the combination of cube and octahedron forms (for instance the cuboctahedron) are not uncommon either.
One of its more unique properties is that it fluoresces under ultraviolet light. This characteristic was used by early microscopes to visualize tiny structures.
